In the beginning of 2021, I experienced dental and jaw pain. I was told that I needed a new bite plate as I was grinding my teeth whilst sleeping at night. I had bite plate which was probably 15 years old, and did not stay in my mouth any more when I was sleeping, so it became uncomfortable, and I stopped wearing this at night.
A friend of mine advised that I could contact Xtradent to have a new bite plate made. Xtradent made a new bite plate for me within 4 business days. The new bite plate is very comfortable, I hardly feel that I have it in my mouth when I sleep. I would advise this to anyone. Subsequently, I also referred an elderly lady to Xtradent for new dentures, but as she was travelling back to her home in the Cape, she needed the false teeth within a couple of days. Again Xtradent assisted very quickly, and the elderly lady said to me this has changed her life. My son plays sports and we also had a protective mouth guard made for him, which he is very happy with.

I was fortunate enough to visit my family in Johannesburg in April this year. Some 16 months prior to this I had been fitted with a pair of new dentures which were an extremely bad fit, resulting in difficulty in biting and chewing my food and also having nonstop ulcers and pain in my mouth despite numerous attempts by my dentist to resolve this issue. A family member was being fitted by Xtradent at the time and upon telling Xtradent of my dilemma, I was immediately given an appointment to see her the following day. For the first time in many months I was given some hope. Enid was very pleasant, professional and obviously a perfectionist. She went out of her way to make me new dentures before I had to return home. I am now able to eat as comfortably and normally as anyone else and do not have to suffer with painful ulcers. My "bad set" of teeth also made my lips protrude which made me feel very self conscious as they did not look natural at all. These new dentures have not only resolved my difficulty in eating but have given me a new confidence as they are completely natural. I cannot thank Enid enough for caring about my problem and for what she has done for me.
