Restrictions and Warnings

18 AND UNDER: This product is not intended for anyone under 18. Soft guards are more suitable for people under 18. Please check with a dentist prior to use. Orthodontic retainers for children under 18 should be done under parent supervision. Xtradent also does not take any responsibility for retention wires that come loose while taking the impressions.

Do not use:

  • If you wear braces, have dentures or any other dental appliances.
  • If you can wiggle any of your teeth.
  • If you have any tooth ache.
  • If you have any oral sores, gum disease or bleeding gums.
  • If you have sections of 2 or more missing teeth.
  • If you have any loose fillings, caps, cavities with no fillings, jaw pain.
  • If you have any hard time chewing, or serious breathing or respiratory health problems.

STOP USE IMMEDIATELY

  • If you develop soreness, gum irritation or bleeding, or an irritation in our mouth.
  • If the product disrupts your breathing
  • If the product causes pain or discomfort or gagging
  • If the product changes your bite that lasts more than 10 minutes after removing.

Refund Policy

All completed guards will be remade or refunded within 30 days of receiving your guard if not fitting, excluding shipping and impression kit costs. This will be done as soon we receive your mouth guard back at the laboratory. For any issues occurring after the 30 days, Xtradent reserves the right to recharge an Impression kit fee and courier cost of R 300 for a new impression kit if deemed necessary for a remake. Xtradent is not responsible for any courier delays or items damaged during shipping. Any returned guard that is deemed damaged due to abuse or malicious intend will not be refunded.
