The Order Process

Within 2-5 days of your order and payment received, you will receive an Impression Kit, sealed for your protection.
Impression trays in three sizes are provided - either upper or lower according to your order.
Impression putty enough for a single impression.
Return envelope with an order form that must be completed with your name and option.
Detailed instruction sheet on how to take the impression.
Once your impression is completed, please send us a photo of your completed impression for evaluation.
If Xtradent is happy with the impression we will organize a courier pick up of the sealed envelope with the impression inside.
If there are any problems with the impression, we will send you a new kit immediately to save time.
As soon as we receive your impression and order we will manufacture your guard and courier it back to you. This will take about 3 to 5 working days.

How to take the impressions

Choosing the Correct Size of Impression Tray

Picking the correct size of impression tray is very important.

When evaluating the fit, keep these two requirements in mind:
1. It should be long enough to cover the back molars.
2. The teeth should not touch any of the side walls of the impression tray.

Step 1: The Impression Kit

Step 2: Before you begin

Brush and floss your teeth thoroughly.

Fit the correct size of tray into your mouth and practice inserting the tray into your mouth without the putty. Repeat a few times until you are comfortable with the process.

Step 3: Mix and take Impression

Step 4: Take a photo of your impressions and email us for approval

Before returning your impression, we would like to verify that the quality is good enough. Please take a photo and email us. We will give approval if the impression is OK, else we will email a new kit to take a new impression

Step 5: Ready your impression for courier collection

Place your impression in the order return envelope and email xtraguards@gmail.com for courier collection.
